LAFC and Club Tigres will go head-to-head in the fifth edition of the Campeones Cup, an annual North American association football match between the winners of the MLS Cup and the winners of the Campeón de Campeones from Liga MX. The Mexicans have already lifted the trophy, winning the first edition of the tournament back in 2018, when they defeated Toronto FC.
