ToggleAccording to the specialist transfer-news journalist Fabrizio Romano, Forsberg has reached a verbal agreement over a four-year contract with the Red Bulls, who exited the 2023 MLS playoffs earlier this month.
A Forsberg move to New York, which has also been reported by the German newspaper Bild, would see the 32-year-old remain within Red Bull’s sporting empire. He has spent nearly nine years at Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, who are also owned by the energy-drink giant.
